Taus is a Copenhagen womenswear label working to order, alongside small-batch European production. Our practice is built on archival research and traditional construction: upcycled and deadstock materials meet tailoring and dressmaking, developed through hands-on pattern and fit work in our studio.

We are a two-person founding team, so everyone who joins us works directly with us, across design, pattern making and the daily running of the studio.

Fashion Design Intern

Copenhagen, internship. Flexible start, preferably November 2026, for a minimum of two months.

The role

We are looking for a curious, hands-on intern to join us in the studio.

  • Work with us on the Autumn Winter 2027 collection, from concept building to creative research
  • Support pattern making, sample making and all areas of in-house production
  • Contribute ideas to brand storytelling and strategy
  • Take part in the daily running of an emerging label

What you will learn

  • Pattern making, craft skills and a hands-on approach to fashion
  • The whole cycle of creating show pieces and commercial ready-to-wear
  • The realities of working in a small, studio-led label
  • Time management and seeing the bigger picture in a project
  • The role can be shaped around your own interests and goals

We are looking for

  • A good understanding of pattern making, sewing and finishing, as we work a lot with our hands
  • Openness to working across different areas
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • A bonus: Adobe InDesign, CLO 3D, Photoshop or Excel/Sheets

  • Unpaid, with flexible hours and days to suit you
