We make clothes slowly and in small numbers, most of them by hand in our Copenhagen studio. This page sets out how we work: where our pieces are made, what they are made from and who makes them.

Production
Most of our pieces are made in-house, in our Copenhagen studio. This lets us oversee every step, from the first cut to the final stitch. When we collaborate with others, we work with small, family-run ateliers in Italy and across Europe, including leather specialists and craftspeople who share our values.
Made to order
Our garments are made to order: each piece begins only once your order is placed, and we do not hold garment inventory. Our leather bags are produced in small, limited runs.
Because we make on demand, lead times are longer than in mass production. Estimated times are listed on each product page, and if anything is delayed we will let you know right away. Small details such as zips, hardware or stitch placement may vary slightly from what is shown online, depending on available materials, though never in ways that change the character or function of the piece.
Materials
We work with mono-materials wherever possible and seek out upcycled and deadstock fabrics: materials that already exist in the world. For our Autumn Winter 2026 show collection, we counted every material used across 36 fabrications:
Upcycled (16): wool 8, cotton 3, silk 2, polyester 2, viscose 1. Deadstock (17): cotton 10, wool 4, leather 3. Virgin (3). Figures cover the show collection and count materials per style, not the number of pieces produced.
Traceability remains a challenge, particularly with deadstock. We buy from sources we have verified, and all our fabrics are purchased within the EU.
Logistics and packaging
We produce locally and source regionally, and prioritise land freight over air. Our packaging is plastic-free wherever possible, using recycled cardboard and natural fibres.
People and practice
We are a small studio: two founders, supported by design interns. We work Monday to Friday, within humane hours, and we never outnumber our staff with interns.
We are expanding our size range and deepening our understanding of inclusive and adaptive design. We work in small-scale production and long-term partnerships with artisans, and everyone involved in our process is treated with respect and paid fairly.
Your role
We see you, the wearer, as part of the cycle: choosing carefully, caring for your clothes and passing them on when the time feels right. Our care guide, complimentary repairs and trouser hemming are there to help your pieces last and fit well.
